Curate 6-10 of your strongest work samples that demonstrate range and depth. For each piece, provide context: the challenge or brief, your role and approach, the tools you used, and the outcome or impact. Quality matters more than quantity—include only work you're truly proud of.

An online portfolio is essential in today's digital-first hiring landscape. Use platforms like a personal website, Behance, Dribbble, GitHub, or a simple Google Sites page. Ensure it's well-organized, loads quickly, and is mobile-responsive. Include clear navigation and a brief about section.

Linking Portfolio to Your Resume

Include your portfolio URL in your resume's contact section and mention specific portfolio pieces in your work experience descriptions. In your cover letter, reference relevant portfolio items that demonstrate skills the employer is seeking.

Keeping It Current

A stale portfolio can hurt more than help. Update it regularly with new projects, remove outdated work that no longer represents your best abilities, and ensure all links are functional. Set a quarterly reminder to review and refresh your portfolio content.
